Johor Bahru City 


Located at the southern tip of the Peninsula, Johor Bahru is the state capital of Johor Darul Takzim.

Points of interest:

Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque is a beautiful mosque in Malaysia with its Islamic and western influenced architecture.

Sultan Ibrahim Building is the former State Secretariat building of Johor. It no longer serves as a government building but plans are being made to turn it into a museum.

The waterfalls are a favorite spot for picnics and relaxation. The water cascades 34 m down into a pool deep enough for swimming.


Kota Tinggi Waterfalls

Kukup is a fishing village with houses on stilts at the water’s edge. There are numerous restaurants on stilts serving delicious seafood. Handicraft and delicacies such as keropok, belacan and cencaluk are available at Kukup.

Sweetwater Restaurant serves the best western food in Johor Bahru. Besides the food it also has a really magnificent vibe and a lovely decoration.

The Chinese Heritage Museum reveals all about the rich heritage and history of the Chinese in this city. This restored four-floor building is loaded with artefacts, including traditional Chinese clothing and captioned photographs and videos.
