Centro de Art La Casona
Centro de Arte La Casona was beautifully restored in 1979. La Casona is devoted mainly to solo exhibitions, but also has catalogues of leading contemporary Cuban artists.
One of Havana’s longest established galleries (founded 1962), this combination of state-run and commercial showplace exhibits the work of both Cuban and international artists in a lot of forms: installations, paintings and sculpture.

Café Madrigal – Boutique movie buff bar
This is a popular hangout with the local cinephiles, and stays open late on weekends.
The walls are adorned in old movie posters and even the lampshades are sound umbrellas; this new bar is a film lover’s perfect drinking spot. Habana Vieja: contains the core of the original city of Havana. It was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Plaza Vieja: a plaza in Old Havana, it was the site of executions, processions, bullfights, and parties.
Fortress San Carlos de la Cabaña, is located on the east side of the Havana bay. La Cabaña is the most inspiring fortress from colonial times, particularly its walls constructed at the end of the 18th century.
Museo de la Revolución is located in the former Presidential Palace, with the yacht Granma behind the museum, on exhibition.
Great Theatre of Havana is situated facing Havana´s Central Park and it is a prominent theatre built in 1837.
Other important theatres in the city are the National Theater of Cuba, housed in a huge modern building located in Plaza de la Revolucion, decorated with works by Cuban artists.
