Most designers in Europe are known for their pared down style. Some might call it modern but for others, and Spanish designer Lorenzo Castillo, “less is a bore”. He’s been featured in countless magazines like Architectural Digest, Vogue, Elle Decor and House & Garden. His style is exuberant. Sometimes, even over the top but one thing it’s not, is boring.
He mixes graphic patterns with Baroque arabesques and Art Deco motifs. He generally keeps to a simple color palette but keeps contrast high to ratchet up the tension and interest, mixing styles and eras to end up with rooms that are brilliant.
Lorenzo Castillo is a prolific interior designer whose style is modern and timeless and it’s safe to say that we will see a lot more of him and his work.
